9 Handling Alarms During RNCCommissioning

This task describes how to handle alarms reported during RNC commissioning.

Prerequisitel The communication between the RNC FAM and the BAM is operational.

l The LMT is started and properly communicates with the BAM.

Procedure

Step 1 On the main menu of the LMT, choose Fault Management > Browse Alarm. A window isdisplayed, as shown in Figure 9-1.

Step 2 Check whether there are any alarms in the alarm browse window.

If... Then...

There is no alarm in the alarm browse window. End this task.

There are alarms in the alarm browse window. Go to Step 3.

Step 3 Double-click the alarm to be handled in the alarm browse window. A dialog box is displayed,as shown in Figure 9-2.

Step 4 Click Help.... The LMT Help System interface is displayed.

Step 5 Handle the alarm according to the suggestions in the Alarm Handling part.

NOTE

If the alarm cannot be cleared, contact Huawei for technical support.

Step 6 Repeat Step 3 to Step 5 to handle other alarms.
