The Time to read section provides interesting and informative texts that deal with original topics and allow teachers to use them not only for comprehension activities but also for meaningful exploitation.

As this is the skills development page, it also includes the Time to talk section, which gives learners the chance to integrate and consolidate language through pair work and group work.

  • Through this feature, learners are asked to self-assess their work using both the bird and the numbers, thus getting a clear picture of their progress and whether they are ready or not for the test provided for in the Teachers Guide.

This self-assessment page aims at helping learners to develop their sense of awareness by giving them the opportunity to assess their own work. The Hows your English? section is based on positive testing, starting from a simple listening activity.

The last lesson in every unit deals with cross-curricular topics and finishes in a mini-project that gives students the chance to investigate about a topic and share their findings or productions.
