Format for Training will include:

Active Learning Exercise - Desktop1. Configure your desktop to have a 3 pane display. 2. In the 1st pane set the Calendar as the Primary Control and the Waiting List as the Secondary Control. 3. In the 2nd pane set the Message Counts as the next Primary Control, Notes as the Secondary Control which to display as a split pane underneath the Message Counts screen on the Desktop. 4. Include the Bottom Panel and add a Web Part as the Primary control. 5. Click OK. 6. Add the Web Part* you want to display on the desktop.

*Note:In the Web Part pane click on Google Home Page Content find the Web Part you want to display and click on the link name click on Add to your Webpage scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Get the code a box will display with the code click in the box and highlight the code - copy the code (Ctrl + C) close the window. On your desktop click on Edit Web Part when the box opens paste the code (Ctrl+ V) and click Save Web Part.

Active Learning Exercise - Messaging1st Exercise Create an RX Refill Message 1. Initiate a message from the desktop. 2. Select the New Rx Refill message. 3. Choose Riley Jones as the patient the Rx Refill is for. 4. Assign the message to the Sales Admin user. 5. Choose the Provider as Dr. Bloggs. 6. Enter Xanax as the medication requested. 7. Click OK. Step 2 Respond to the Rx Refill Request 1. Open Rx Refill message. 2. Attach Refill for Xanax by adding a New Drug. Add in the following information: 1 Tablet PO QD for 30 days with 0 refills. 3. Add any internal comments if needed. 4. Add a note on the Notes tab that the Rx was called into Pharmacy. 5. Uncheck Print Prescription when Message is Completed. 6. Complete if you are done with message. 7. You should receive a message back that shows the Rx Refill Message was completed. Open that message and complete to remove from Messages.

3rd Exercise Create a Message Filter 1. Go to Message Filters. 2. Create a new message filter for Rx Refill Message types.
