Battambang - Sitting on the Sangker River just southwest of the Tonle Sap Lake, Battambang is at the heart of Cambodia's 'rice bowl', and even though it is one of the country's largest towns it still has a fairly lightly touristed, provincial atmosphere. Much of the architecture is colonial-era with traditional shophouses lining quaint narrow lanes.
Vientiane - is the capital and largest city in Laos which is located on the banks of the Mekong River. Vientiane is a city steeped in legend and history -the home of the massive gilded stupa, Pha That Luang, a national symbol of Laos. The streets are lined with trees, French colonial buildings, street markets, Buddhist temples, and noodle shops. Just outside the city is Buddha Park, a garden littered with over 200 cement sculptures depicting the gods and monsters of Buddhist and Hindu myth.
Xiengkhuang (aka Plain of Jars) - is in the northeast of Laos, lying across a flat high plateau is the province of Xieng-Khouang, most commonly known for the intriguing ‘Plain of Jars’. The hundreds of giant stone jars, some as large as 3.25 metres high are strewn all over the plateau –carved out of solid hunks of rock from surrounding mountains, no one really knows why they are there.
Si Phan Don (4000 islands) - is a fascinating destination in southern Laos with colonial relics, natural beauty and current Lao rural lifestyle. The lower Mekong offers scenic beauty and a glimpse into the remote rural communities of southern Laos.
The area is least visisted and the trip to southern Laos often combines with visiting Wat Phou, fresh water dolphin watching trip or Mount Phou Asa.

Visa Requirements toVietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand Vietnam Visa Requirements
Most nationalities require a tourist visa to visit Vietnam. Travellers can choose to independently apply (or we can arrange this for you) for a 30 day tourist visa (single or multiple entry) from the nearest Vietnamese Embassy or via the more convenient method of applying online prior to departure.
We recommend a visa upon arrival and we can obtain a visa approval letter for you. The process is much easier than obtaining a visa on your own and general less expensive. After submitting an application, you will receive a confirmation number, then upon arriving to Vietnam you would receive the actual visa and additionally pay a stamping fee of USD$45 per person (single entry visa) or US$65 per person (multi-entry visa). It is important that you have an empty (stamp free) page in your passport and it is valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival.
Applying in advance and then collecting your tourist visa upon arrival is available to all travellers entering the country at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City City and Danang nternational Airport in Danang.
Cambodia Visa Requirements
Most travelers are able to obtain a 30 day tourist visa upon arrival to Cambodia when entering via Pochentong International Airport in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap International Airport (in the Angkor Wat Region) and at the Moc Bai (Vietnam) and Bavet (Cambodia) land border. At each of these entry points you must submit a photocopy of your passport (identification page) and one passport-size photo. The cost of the visa is currently USD$30.
Note: at the land border sometimes immigration will ask for more. In this situation point to the sign above the ticket window indicating that the cost is actually USD$30 (subject to change). Further, you are best to give the exact amount i.e.
USD$30 as often if you give more you might not receive change. It is also possible to obtain a 30 day tourist visa prior to arrival via the Cambodian Embassy in your home port, though please note tourist visas arranged with the embassy are valid for 30 days from date of issue, not date of arrival. It is important that you have an empty (stamp free) page in your passport and it is valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival.
Laos Visa Requirements
Most nationalities require a tourist visa to visit Laos. You can obtain a visa upon arrival to Laos at major airports and border crossings including Wattay International Airport in Vientiane, Luang Prabang International Airport and at the Friendship Bridge if coming from Thailand. At each of these entry points you must submit a visa application form and 2 passport-size photos. The cost of the visa is currently between USD$30 and USD$45. It is important that you have an empty (stamp free) page in your passport and it is valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival. Tourist visas are usually valid for 30 days.
Thailand Visa Requirements
Passport holders of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States and most EU countries are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourist purposes for a stay of not more than 30 days. Visitors may be required to prove that they possess adequate finances for the duration of stay in Thailand (i.e., cash 10,000THB/US$400 per person). Evidence can be shown in the form of cash or credit cards. Please note that visa requirements are subject to change. Visa procurement is solely the responsibility of the traveller. Please refer to Thailand’s Foreign Affairs website for up to date information. It is important that you have an empty (stamp free) page in your passport and it is valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival.
