PLUS SERIES

For more than 70 years, Mercury has stood for reliability and durability; it is the name you can trust. Our products are designed and built to rigid specifications, and are built to last. Whether new or remanufactured all our parts and components are made to work together. In fact the parts we use when remanufacturing our engines and components are the same as those used in the factory to make new products. Mercury

Remanufactured products are examined, rebuilt and tested by Mercury.

We stand behind our products, and all remanufactured engines and components come with a standard 12 month factory limited warranty.

Mercury Marine is the most recognised name in the marine industry – because this is what we do.

You’re looking into repower options for your boat – where do you start? First consider your options: Packages, Bobtail, Longblock, or Repair

Consider Mercury Remanufacturing

Package OptionAvailable in new or factory remanufactured repower solution from ignition key to propeller.

Includes all new: • Drive and propeller

• Transom and trim hydraulics

• Exhaust and power assisted steering

• Gauges, controls and wiring

Bobtail Option A drop in fully dressed engine from flywheel housing forward.

• Great alternative if drive and transom recently refurbished or is in good working condition

Longblock Option Remanufactured base engine block that utilises your existing manifolds, fuel and electrical system.

• Ideally suited to applications where mechanically an engine has failed but drive and accessories are in good condition

Repair Option • If an issue can be solved with a repair, ensure you use genuine

Mercury and Quicksilver Marine components to maintain integrity of your engine and drive

The Plus Series line from Mercury Remanufacturing is made up of unique engines that offer value performance for your next repower. Based on our popular MerCruiser products, these are

fully remanufactured engines that are fi tted with marine-grade performance valve train, pistons, induction system and (in cases) marine headers to deliver factory reliability at an affordable price.

The Plus Series Advantage

The Plus Series Advantage

Each Plus Series engine is “Hot Tested” by supplying fuel and coolant so technicians can perform a series of live-running tests for quality assurance.

All Plus Series engines are completely remanufactured and include exhaust manifolds, fuel, electrical and ignition systems so they are ready to rig into a boat. Plus Series engines from Mercury Remanufacturing come with a one-year factory limited warranty

For more than 50 years the word “MerCruiser” has meant sterndrive performance. Choose from more than 20 unique drive systems such as our Alpha One, the most popular sterndrive in the world, or our brawny Bravo Series drives. MerCruiser has the perfect drive system for you and your boat.

Alpha Drives

Bravo Drives Bravo One Great performance starts with heart. Single, twin, triple applications over 160kph for engines up to 600hp.

Bravo Two Handle the biggest boats with authority. Twin application up to 88kph for engines up to 450hp.

Bravo Three Effi cient. Maneuverable. Unbeatable. Single or twin applications up to 104kph for engines up to 525hp.

Alpha One The most popular sterndrive in the world. Single or twin applications up to 104kph for engines up to 300hp Gen I and Gen II are available.

Transoms

The transom assembly is the least discussed component but inarguably, one of the most important. This holds true for every MerCrusier sterndrive application. Most people’s repower focus is on the engine and sterndrive. However, the transom delivers the cooling water, manages the exhaust, serves as the primary engine mount, controls the steering, manages the trim system, delivers MerCathode corrosion protection, and serves as the conduit for speed and trim control. The transom also serves the important function of sealing seawater outside the boat.

When you consider the importance and value of this critical component, make sure to also consider the condition of your present transom assembly. Taking care of a transom during a repower may save you hundreds of dollars in repair bills in the future.
