The drugs, worth 100,000, were found by gardaí on Tuesday evening in two 40ft containers concealed beneath a mobile home in a clearing in a forest west of Ballvourney on the Cork/Kerry border. It is believed that those behind the operation had to bring in heavy machinery to the remote area to dig out the growhouses. Gardaí were fearful of earth collapsing as they carried out their investigations today. Three men, believed to be from Lithuania, were arrested and are being questioned under drug trafficking legislation.
