    Instruction for authors

Preparation of papersPapers shall be submitted at the editorialoffice typed on standard typing pages (A4,30 lines per page, 62 characters per line).

The editors recommend up to 15 pages forfull research paper ( including abstractreferences, tables, figures and otherappendices)

The manuscript should be structured asfollows: Title, Names of authors andaffiliation address, Abstract, List ofkeywords, Introduction, Material andme th o d s , R e su l t s , D i scu ss i o n ,Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any),References, Tables, Figures. The title needs to be as concise and

informative about the nature of research. Itshould be written with small letter /bold, 14/without any abbreviations.

Names and affiliation of authorsThe names of the authors should bepresented from the initials of first namesfollowed by the family names. Thecomplete address and name of theinstitution should be stated next. Theaffiliation of authors are designated bydifferent signs. For the author who is goingto be corresponding by the editorial board

and readers, an E-mail address andtelephone number should be presented asfootnote on the first page. Correspondingauthor is indicated with *.Abstract should be not more than 350words. It should be clearly stated what newfindings have been made in the course ofresearch. Abbreviations and references toauthors are inadmissible in the summary. Itshould be understandable without havingread the paper and should be in oneparagraph.

Keywords:Up to maximum of 5 keywordsshould be selected not repeating the titlebut giving the essence of study. The introduction must answer thefollowing questions: What is known andwhat is new on the studied issue? Whatnecessitated the research problem, described in the paper? What is yourhypothesis and goal ?Material and methods: The objects ofresearch, organization of experiments, chemical analyses, statistical and othermethods and conditions applied for the

experiments should be described in detail.A criterion of sufficient information is to be

possible for others to repeat theexperiment in order to verify results.Resultsare presented in understandabletables and figures, accompanied by thestatistical parameters needed for theevaluation. Data from tables and figures

should not be repeated in the text.Tablesshould be as simple and as few aspossible. Each table should have its ownexplanatory title and to be typed on aseparate page. They should be outside themain body of the text and an indicationshould be given where it should beinserted.Figures should be sharp with goodcontrast and rendition. Graphic materialsshould be preferred. Photographs to beappropriate for printing. Illustrations aresupplied in colour as an exception after

special agreement with the editorial boardand possible payment of extra costs. Thefigures are to be each in a single file andtheir location should be given within thetext.Discussion:The objective of this sectionis to indicate the scientific significance ofthe study. By comparing the results andconclusions of other scientists thecontribution of the study for expanding ormodifying existing knowledge is pointedout clearly and convincingly to the reader. Conclusion: The most important conse-

quences for the science and practiceresulting from the conducted researchshould be summarized in a few sentences. The conclusions shouldn't be numberedand no new paragraphs be used.Contributions are the core of conclusions.References:In the text, references should be cited asfollows: single author: Sandberg (2002);two authors: Andersson and Georges(2004); more than two authors: Anderssonet al.(2003). When several references arecited simultaneously, they should be

ranked by chronological order e.g.:(Sandberg, 2002; Andersson et al., 2003;An dersson and Georges, 2004).References are arranged alphabetically bythe name of the first author. If an author iscited more than once, first his individualpublications are given ranked by year, thencome publications with one co-author, twoco-authors, etc. The names of authors, article and journal titles in the Cyrillic oralphabet different from Latin, should betransliterated into Latin and article titlesshould be translated into English.

The original language of articles and bookstranslated into English is indicated in

    parenthesis after the bibliographicreference (Bulgarian = Bg, Russian = Ru,Serbian = Sr, if in the Cyrillic, Mongolian =, Greek = Gr, Georgian = Geor.,Japanese = J, Chinese = Ch, Arabic = r,etc.)

The following order in the reference list isrecommended:Journal articles:Author(s) surname andinitials, year. Title. Full title of the journal, volume, pages. Example:Simm G, Lewis RM, Grundy B andDingwall WS, 2002. Responses toselection for lean growth in sheep. AnimalScience, 74, 39-50Books: Author(s) surname and initials, year. Title.
