Announcements
The offering today is for the Christian Record located in Lincoln, Nebraska. It carries on the work for the blind and hard of hearing for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This ministry is for those outside the church and church members. Let us help this World Budget ministry today. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Vespers will be at 7:00 this evening. Please come and join us as we close the Sabbath. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join us for dinner before the prayer meeting on Wednesday. The dinner starts at 6:00 pm with prayer service following. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Continue to remember Hollins Manor. They are in desperate need of body wash, deodorant (men’s and women’s), and shampoo. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The food pantry is in serious need of non-perishable foods. Please help us fill our pantry back up. We are asking that everyone bring one can or one box of non-perishable foods every Sabbath morning to church to be placed in a basket as you enter the church. Everyone’s help is desperately needed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Urgent CHIP Update: In order to reach more potential participants, we've bumped up the beginning date for our CHIP to Monday, April 13. (Heart Screen's on Thursday morning, April 9.) We would like all of you to please use this extra time to (1) If possible, donate funds for scholarships for those who want to participate but lack the funds, (2) prayerfully consider joining us at CHIP, (3) invite at least one friend to a free information session-AND OFFER TO GO WITH THEM. We will be holding new information sessions during the next 3 weeks and will get those dates and locations to you asap. Please, do all you can to help with this community outreach. It WILL make a difference in people's lives! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Monday, April 20 from 6:30-7:30 at the new Roanoke SDA church on 460 there will be another information session about the Roanoke Adventist Preparatory School. Come meet the new teacher, Crystal Gilbert, get info. about the upcoming school year and early registration tuition rates. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------New Full Color Church Directory: Signup sheet and more information are in the foyer. See Melissa Elkins for any questions 314-1768 or [email protected] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our website has been renovated. Go to www.northvalleysdachurch.com to see what is new at our church website. There are some new Bible study links and a new look at the Bible Study section of the church website. Plus, in the Ministries section the Sabbath School section is updated and a new youth ministry page is included with links that teens could benefit from and read about the Bible fundamentals. Anyone can also post a prayer concern in the prayer section of the website. Look forward to future updates as the renovations for the church website will continue. Justin would appreciate information about your ministry department in the church to put in the ministry section of the website. Ask Justin for a ministry department form to give important information about your ministry in the church.

Mission Statement of North Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church
To make disciples for Jesus Christ by evangelizing the Roanoke Valley with the
everlasting gospel in the context of the three angels’ messages.
If you would like to order from our health food store, fill out an order form, and your order will be placed in the mail room the following Sabbath.
Parents, keep in mind our Mother’s Room at the rear of the sanctuary. There is comfortable seating, as well as a window and
a speaker so you can still enjoy the service if you need to take your child from the sanctuary.
Visit the North Valley updated website! We have a professionally designed site that includes church news, Bible study helps, our events calendar, and pages for the ministries and departments in our church. Go to www.northvalleysdachurch.com.
There will be a fellowship dinner following the service next Sabbath, and bring a guest! The food
and fellowship are always wonderful.
We would like every person to bring a can or box of non-perishable food to church with you
every Sabbath to be placed in a basket in the foyer. We need to fill up our food pantry as
quickly as possible!!! Thanks for all your help, and may God richly bless our efforts.
