CIRCULAR

Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission (UERC) a statutory body discharging its

functions under the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003, invites applications from eligible candidates

for the following post, which is to be filled up on deputation basis. The format of application and

details may be downloaded from the Commission's website: www.uerc.gov.in. The applications are to

be submitted as per instructions given herein:

Essential Qualification and Experience

MBA with specialization in Finance or CharteredAccountant or equivalent from recognizeduniversity / institution.7 years of experience in Government Deptt./Govt.Corporation/Statutory bodies of accounting and /or finance preferably with exposure inmanagement accounting, managing office payrolls,Budget, audit and preparation of accountstatements.

3. Officer holding analogous post on regular basis orwith 3 years regular service in the Pay Band of ~15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay ~ 5,400 or equivalent.

4. Excellent, verbal and written communication skill.5. Good working knowledge of word processing,

spreadsheets, internet and emaiJ software is must.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. The mode of appointment for the post of Deputy Director (Accounts) is on Deputation basis fromState/CentraljUT Government/ Statutory/Constitutional Body / Public Sector Undertakings etc.

2. The Pay & Allowances and other terms and conditions of appointment on deputation basis will beregulated in accordance with rules of the State Government.

3. The maximum age limit for deputation shall be 55 years.

4. The deputation shall be for a period upto three (3) years initially, which may extend upto two years,as per rules.

5. The crucial date for the existing vacancies for determining eligibility criteria/ age limit would be on01.06.2013.

6. For appointment on deputation basis, regular service of certain years in various pay scales has beenprescribed as essential qualification The pay scale shown in the eligibility criteria are State DearnessAllowance pattern pay scales applicable w.e.£. 1.1.2006 and the eligibility of candidates shall beaccordingly determined with reference to these pay scales. The eligibility of such candidates whoare working in Public Sector Undertakings etc. where Industrial/Variable Dearness- Allowancepattern is applicable shall be determined by equating their IDA/VDA pattern Pay scale with therequisite CDA pattern Pay scales of eligibility in the following manner:
