    CULTURE DAYS

    We are changing our culture days. A teacher will be chosen each month to share,teach and talk about their own culture and traditions. Also, each classroom will haa child who will be chosen each week to talk about anything from their appearanc(brown hair, blue eyes, cloths etc.) to their family, culture and traditions. Keep yoeyes out for your child’s special week. If you have any questions, please ask yourchild(ren) classroom teacher.

    Daycare: 

    The children have been eagerlyawaiting the arrival of Spring. Theweather has been beautiful and thechildren are loving every momentspent outside. In May the childrenenjoyed making their Mothers Daygift and bringing them home. The birds chirp outside while thechildren sing inside. Some of theirfavourite songs are: Slippery Fish,Ba Ba Black Sheep, Zoom Zoom

    Zoom, Skinamarinky dinky dinkand I’m Bring Home my BabyBumblebee.

    Before & After School

    Care

    The Children have been workinghard in teams while competing invarious tasks. A few of the tasksinvolve building structures withLegos, straws, cards, magnets and pipe cleaners. The children havetaken a trip to the past and have been reintroduced to water play andfinger painting.They have been enjoying the beautiful weather and playingoutside at Elementary Park. Morefun in the sun to come!

    Preschool Swimming Lessons

    Every morning June 2nd-June 10 and June 23rd 

    Swimming will be at 11am to 11:45am.

    Please ensure that if your child is attending

    swimming lessons that they are here before 9:45am

    to ensure they have enough time to walk to the

     pool. All children attending must have a swim suit,

    towel and appropriate clothing for the walk.Parents are invited to watch and cheer!

    We would like to say farewell and the best wishes to Jessica and

    Kim. They have both been an asset to our organization and have

     been such great team members. We wish them best of luck and

    happiness on their new journeys. Thank you for all your hard work

    and dedication!

    Summer Program 

    Summer is just around the

    corner and weare planning/ preparing for our

    summer program.Registration begins June 1st.

    The first 40 children to registerwill get a free Boys& Girls hat!

    Register before it’s too late! 

    The following are responsible to work this bingo:

    June 8, 2016- Erin Cherniwchan, Cassie Spence, Andrea Stamp, Karly Amero,

    Daphne Moses, Kirk ThorntonNote: know that the purpose of the bingos is to help raise money to cover some of the

    operation costs and keep our childcare fees reasonable. We so cover meal expenses for our

    volunteers but we ask to keep it within $12.00 per person for meal/drink/ snack budget.

    Community Garden

    It's that time of year. Pull up your sleeves, get

    dirty and show off your green thumb. The

    Boys and Girls club is back at it again;gardening! We are look for volunteers who

    would like to help our children garden at the

    community garden. If you or someone you

    know enjoys gardening and would like to help

    the children plant vegetables of their own,

     please let us know!
