Founded in 1946, MacNeill has built its reputation by combining a diverse group of companies, a broad set of personal lines, commercial lines, flood and transportation products, unique technology offerings and outstanding service; all applied with a single-minded focus of ensuring the success of our clients and partners.

Frank R MacNeill (Mr. Mac) opens shop in Sanford, Florida, under the name Frank R MacNeill & Son (FRM).
FRM issues the first Dwelling Fire policy with St. Louis Fire & Marine effective Dec. 9th, 1946 for a total premium of $30.50.
Mr. Mac selected Boss of the Year by the Insurance Women of Dade County.
Construction begins on the new corporate headquarters in Doral, FL.
Office relocatesfrom downtown to the new Doral facility.
MacNeill mourns its founder. At the age of 92, Frank MacNeill passes away.
Malcolm MacNeill becomes Presidentof Frank R. MacNeill & Son, Inc.
Hurricanes Donna (1960), Betsy (1964), and Cleo (1965) make landfall in Florida. The insurance market is hithard and insurance becomes scarce – for a while.
With no lessons learned, insurance companies again let competition lead the effort and over the next three decades Homeowner's Insurance becomes inexpensiveand readily available.
Like so many of us, MacNeill decides to move to Miami

MacNeill launched a private automobile insurance program.
Tom Rogan is named President.
Hurricane Andrewchanges everything.
MacNeill is no longer a “South Florida” MGA, expanding its agency base and marketing strategy statewide.
MacNeill’s Flood Department wins NFIP “Agency of the Year” Award.
Malcolm MacNeill retires and sells the company to London-based Jardine Insurance Brokers, known as JLT today.
MacNeill, along with Audubon Insurance Co., becomes one of the Servicing Carriers for FRPCJUA.
MacNeill takes on its first insurance companyclient for program management. Over the next 20 years, MacNeill assists in the development of 13 insurance carriers.

MacNeill is awarded a services contract to the newly formed Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corporation as Hurricane Katrina approaches.
MacNeill celebrates70 years in business.
Team Focus Insurance Group is formed to complete the management buyout of MacNeill Group with plans to diversify both geographically and within the P&C insurance channel.
MacNeill Group continues geographic expansion to three states outside of Florida.
Awarded PIA Agency of the Year
Kevin Tromer becomes President.
Acquisition of Capacity Insurance Co.
Team Focus acquires a strategic partner in BIPT who provides policy administration software & expertise.
Launch of the MacNeill Online Underwriting System (MOUS), granting agents access to single point of entry quoting platform and resources.
