We have made a considerable investment to stock a comprehensive range of tools into two custom built tool cabinets that are located in the HANZ technical training centre. We have also developed a new web based system for managing the tools. The system uses the “HANZ Cars” section of the hyundai.co.nz website. If you would like to borrow a SST it must be booked the through the website. The tool loan system will only work efficiently if we all work together, please ensure all tools are returned to HANZ by the date on the tool request. If you require the tools for a longer period than originally booked you will have to rebook or extend the time required (If they are still available) We have invested a lot of money to make these tools available to the dealer network, please treat the tools with care while in your possession, any tool that is lost or damaged will be charged to your dealership. Please ensure the tools are correctly packaged when returning them to HANZ. Please refer to the following pages for the procedure for booking special service tools:

To Request Service Tools

From the www.hyundai.co.nz website, select “HANZ Cars” from the Dealers Only drop down menu and log on.

Select Service Select Tool Requests

Select Tool Request Options

Select New Tool Request

Enter Reference (Repair number or vehicle registration number etc) Enter Notes (any other relevant information) Select The date the tools are required Click Add Tools to Request

Select Tick Box of Tools Required

Click Add to Request Close Tools Screen

Click either: Save (this saves request to be modified at a later date before sending to HANZ) Send (to send request to HANZ to reserve tools)

You will then receive a confirmation email

To View Current/Past Requests

Select HANZ Cars

Select Service Select Tool Requests

Select Tool Request Options Select Show Requests Current – Not yet sent to HANZ for approval. Pending – Requested from HANZ and approved, awaiting dispatch. Dispatched – Requested tools dispatched from HANZ. Old Orders – Previous approved and dispatched requests.
