be completed for this week. All relevant pages are in the books that you should now have at

Mental Maths Book Week 40 p. 119– 121
Complete the assigned work daily from Monday to Friday.
Revision pages (see relevant sections in Busy at Maths Book)
Monday: Complete Problem Solving p. 151
Tuesday: Weight: Complete Q.1 p. 154 and Q.1 p.157
Remember: 1 kilogramme = 1000 grammes
Remember to separate the kg and grammes using a decimal point when converting
grammes to kilogrammes for Q.1p.157. (Divide by 1000- moving the decimal point
three places to the left)
Wednesday: Weight: Complete questions 2 – 6 p.157
For Q. 6 rewrite the division sum so that the answer goes on top (see example below)
Answer is 2.12kg
Thursday: Capacity: Complete Questions 2,3,4 p.163
Friday: Capacity: Complete Questions 1 -6 p. 166
Remember 1 litre = 1000millilitres
When converting ml to litres for Q.1, remember to separate the litres and millilitres
using the decimal point. (Divide by 1000 - move decimal point three places to the
left)
For Q.6 rewrite the division sum so that the answer goes on top.
Answer is 1.28 litres
