Arcadian Artists Pictures from 2017
Arcadian Artists 2018The 2018 Arcadian Artists Exhibition & Art Trail will, again, bring together a wonderful collection of Artists & Artisans. Our event is unique in that we have eight studios and over fifty artists & artisans exhibiting & demonstrating their work. A leisurely country drive links the studios located in the rural district of northern Sydney. We always endeavour to present a vibrant city-country experience for everyone on this weekend-long event. Demonstrations & talks with the artists will continue throughout Saturday & Sunday.
Our exhibition is always held on the second weekend in November. The Arcadian Artists aim is to foster the Arts in the local community & beyond. Our committee works tirelessly throughout the year to create, what we believe, is a unique, accessible, creative exhibition. Each year we invite new artists, our venues change & at times the artists are moved to different sites to keep the exhibition fresh & interesting.
The Arcadian Artists support young and emerging artists and we contribute to Galston High Schools’ art department for their HSC major works. For the second year we are delighted to welcome Warrah Special School to Melanie Jai’s Studio. They will show how, through Art Therapy, the lives of adults & children with intellectual disabilities are enriched.
Advertising this event includes a comprehensive brochure, media advertising & editorials as well as the social media platforms of Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest.
The Arcadian Artists website www.arcadianartists.com.au presents an insightful look into all of the artists involved with a wealth of information, including maps, venue locations & artists demonstrations. You can view and download the brochure & map with directions to all of the venues. On the weekend of the 10th-11th November the Trail will be well sign posted. Brochures & maps will be available from the local shops & our information stand located outside the Bendigo Community Bank in Galston.
‘Word of mouth’ is still as important as it ever was. Please tell your friends, forward the brochure, share us on social media and come and enjoy this truly enriching city-country cultural experience.
Coffee & refreshments are now available at five venues. Three of these will also have a delicious organic lunch menu. Look for the Cafe icons on the map. Bring along your picnic rug and sit under the trees, relax & enjoy this very special exhibition.
