What’s the Difference Between 40° and 180° Optics?

Is one brighter than the other? The short answer is no, neither is brighter than the other. However, where you’re viewing the light from determines which optic will be brighter. The 40° modules will be seen the brightest from farther down the road. They are made for long range visibility. The 180° modules give a wide range spread. This makes them brighter from up closer and wider angles. A perk of the Feniex Fusion line is you get to choose! For lights with more than one module, you are able to customize them with 40° modules, 180° modules, or a mix of each.
