Optical Fiber Closures

AJW Optical Fiber Closure protects the optical cable connections with less than 48, 72, 144, or 432 cores. AJW provides RN connection closure, one for 3.5mm micro cables and mini closures, as well. These optical fiber closures are suitable for a manhole, an aerial, and direct burial. With its water-proof construction, it lasts semi-permanently in the harsh working environments.

•  The outer housing material is made of a polymer with superior flame resistance and anti-corrosion. It is fitted to a

manhole environment and lasts semi-permanently. •  Easy to reassemble and do the connection work

•  Tray for optical connection closure (PATENT : 10-0942229)

AJW Outdoor Optical Termination Panel connects, branches and distributes optical cables for FTTH subscriber distribution. It is installed on an inner/outer wall, and able to be mounted on a telephone pole and a wall. It is easy to expand an outer line for subscribers.

AJW Indoor Optical Termination Panel connects and distributes the FTTH fiber optical cables for subscriber distribution with being mounted on the inside of a middle terminal box in the communal premises.

Mechanical Splicer + Protector

AJW Mechanical Splicer for Single Optical Cable allows fast and easy optical fiber connection in the field. Its simple and delicate triangular V-Groove and a guide help to sustain the connection with stability, and a beginner can assemble easily. It accommodates all cables of 250/900 ㎛ and does not require additional tools to disassemble and reconnect. It provides equivalent performance to fusion splicer. AJW Mechanical Splice Protector prevents the connected optical fibers inside from being cut by outside impacts and distortion. It functions as a mechanical splicer tool and a protector.

Mechanical Splicer •  V-Groove is embedded in a body and protects a blockage of a cable in insertion.

FTTx System Support

AJW Optical Termination Panel with Built-In CWDM Module multiplexes and demultiplexes CWDM waves with a single optical cable. It is installed on a telephone pole and a wall. AJW Mode Converter is a passive element that converts singlemode to multimode, or vice versa without an active device. It is easily installed, and offers low insertion loss and smooth transmission. AJW Monitoring Filter is optimized to FTTx system and detects PON(Passive Optical Network). It is compatible with all other manufacturers’ PON equipment.
