RTS Instruments Srl (RTS) is an experienced, independent, company, based in Rome, Italy, that provides radiation measuring equipment and radiological monitoring systems to nuclear, research and environmental customers worldwide. RTS Staff’s experience in the field comes from 1979. The products are property of the company and include devices and systems for measuring and monitoring all types of radioactive contaminants in air and water and radioactive emissions including gamma, neutrons and natural radioactivity.

The main customer groups include nuclear power plants and facilities, research centres, civil defence and military organizations, health and environmental institutions.

RTS equipment has been supplied all over the world, including Europe (plants, facilities and territories also within BERD, TACIS and PHARE programs), USA, Asia, North Africa and Middle East, with satisfied customers and repetitive business indicative of field-proven, advanced, and reliable technology. RTS uses highly qualified subcontractors for basic manufacturing activities and for site assistance, while directly controls the key phases of production, tests and project management. Large projects are implemented with qualified partners (including General Atomics ESI and Hi-Q in USA, Meatecs in Asia and Middle East, Madhuchitt Industries in India, Ansaldo Nucleare, UIT, VF, West Systems, All Trade in Europe).

It is important to mention the long-time partnerships with ENEA (also related to four common patents) and with the Italian Universities.

Radiation Monitoring is a very important subject from the environmental as well as from the safety and security points of view, involving new demanding challenges for everyone in this sector. RTS is well placed to meet these challenges.
