Overview
Welcome to the international institute of home staging
Art of Home Staging course.
What an exciting time! You have taken the step
towards starting a new career as a home stager, by
enrolling in this course. A path that will allow you to
use your creative ability, your people skills and your
love for property to launch a fruitful and rewarding
career.
Each of these units that you will complete as part of
this course area all essential skill foundational skills
that will assist you to develop a foundational design,
home staging and property knowledge base.

Course Aim
This course aims to develop foundational
knowledge and skills in the following areas:
1. Property buying and selling.
2. Design elements in home staging
3. Home staging skills

Contact and Support
Support can be obtained at any stage during
the course via email at
1300 769 028
Email support and turn around is within 48
working hours.

Assessment
Assessment tasks are scattered
throughout the course with a major work
to be completed at the end of the course.
All assessment items need to be passed
to pass the course.
On submission of assessments a
confirmation email will be sent within 48
working hours of the IIHS receiving the
submission.
The next unit of work will be sent out
within 5 working days and the feedback /
results of the assessment within 2 working
weeks of the submission.
For each of the modules you will receive a
workbook. This work book is downloaded
as a PDF guide for you. Depending on the
computer technology you have available

you can submit your work in the form that is
easiest and simplest for you. Belong are
examples of home some existing students
submit their work:
1. Print the workbooks and complete it in hard
copy, either returning it via snail mail or
sanning it.
2. Use PDF software to complete the work
within the downloaded file .
3. Request a word.doc version of the workbook
to complete.
4. BUT most students simply create a
document using, word, pages, PowerPoint or
keynote that contains their work and email it
back as a PDF to the IIHS for assessment.
Hence using the PDF workbook as a guide.
The format of your submission is up to you
and IIHS is happy to work with students in
the medium that they prefer as long as the
work is well presented and of a high
standard.

Expected Hours
The course and each unit are self
passed and as a result the hours each
individual student dedicates each
week to its completion is individual
and unique to each students situation.
