Contextualized Learning Activities (CLAs)in Math and English:• Enable students to connect course
learning to their SHSM sector• CLAs are based on curriculum
expectations from required courses• One or more CLAs totaling a minimum
of six hours must be incorporated into each required English and Math course

Cooperative Education
Each SHSM pathway requires that
students complete a minimum of two
credits in cooperative education, linked

Dual Credits
• Marketing students have the opportunity to earn a High School Credit and a Post Secondary College Credit at the same time. They will receive a transcript.
• The course is taught by a Fleming College faculty member twice a week. The Sinclair business teacher teaches the remaining three days.
• The class also visits Fleming College to experience a day of campus life.
