DISTINGUISHED PANEL OF SPEAKERS GLEN REDSTALL, Business Continuity Management, The BCI Institute (UK)

Glen is a Director on the BCI’s Global Board and Vice Chair of the BCI’s Risk and Governance Committee. This follows two years as the President, and Chair of the Board of Directors, of the Australasian Chapter of the BCI. He has 30 years’ experience in the public sector in a wide range of roles including health and safety, strategic policy, legislative change, and project management. He has been the Chairperson of the New Zealand Government Sector Business Continuity Group for nearly four years. He was recognised as the Public Sector Business Continuity Manager of the Year at the 2013 Australasian BCI Awards.

Dr. DAVID KIRKHAM Calistro Consultants Ltd. and London School of Fire Engineering Ltd. (UK) David, educated at Cambridge and London Universities, obtained his Master’s with the Open University and his PhD in risk and crisis at Liverpool University. Having worked in 38 countries, he has been coming to Malaysia since 1985. He has been consulting for the public and private sectors in risks, crisis and communications and has lectured for the Coventry University MBA in cyber-security.

DAVID WINDOW Continuity 22301 Ltd. (UK) David is a Director, Tutor and Course Author for Continuity Shop UK, Europe's officially recognised Best Business Continuity Provider. He has extensive experience in the utilities sector, including five years working overseas managing process re-engineering and cultural change, specifically in the area of Supply Chain Management. He was won the European BCI Personality Award in 2015 and 2016.

HOLGER H. KUNZMANN FinGLaS Human Factors (Germany) Holger H. Kunzmann (Doctoral candidate, MBA), a Managing Fellow in FinGLaS, is a human factors expert and safety science expert in the aviation industry with 25 years of experience. A former military pilot, Mr. Kunzmann trains and consults airplane manufactures, suppliers, and operators alike. His recent doctoral research has covered resilience engineering (safety II), human factors, and change management.

KUNIYUKI TASHIRO Minerva Veritas Co. Ltd. Japan Kuniyuki Tashiro is a consultant of business continuity management, disaster preparedness, emergency response, crisis management, and risk management. He has delivered consultancy for many companies in various industries including manufacturing, IT service, finance, logistics, and retailing. He is keen to popularize BCM for small and medium enterprises through various seminars, workshops, and articles. He has experience of business continuity manager for the manufacturing company, and IT system administrator for the auto manufacturer.

RICHARD ONG Sime Darby Berhad Richard is a certified accountant with 15 years of experience in governance, risk and control. He joined Sime Darby Berhad in 2018 as the Head of Risk and is responsible for implementing appropriate systems, programme and initiatives to manage the Group’s overall risk exposures. He also leads and manages Sime Darby’s insurance and business continuity management programme. Prior to this, Richard held risk and audit positions for various Government-Linked Companies in the field of investment holding, telecommunications, shipping and oil & gas.

MD AZMANI SYAH MUHAMAD ALI Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd Md Azani is currently in charge of Enterprise Risk Management, Integrated Management System (Quality Management System -ISO9001:2015 and Information Security Management System - ISO27001:2013), and Business Continuity Management in Senai Airport, Johor. He has vast experience in the aviation and aerospace industry with an Advanced Diploma in Logistics Management focused in Logistics Management from Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport.

GUNA PALANIVELLO Continuity Services Consultant, RHB Bank Berhad Guna Palanivello is the Continuity Services Consultant with for RHB Bank. Guna has 30 years of work experience and has built up his expertise in Business Continuity Management specializing in Disaster Recovery Management, Service Continuity Management, Country Crisis management, Client Incident Management, Command Centre Operations, Managing Critical Systems Outages, Managing Live Disaster Operations, Real Live Crisis & other client relationship techniques with concrete industry knowledge.

CAPT. SAADON A. SHUKOR Johor Port Berhad He graduated from Malaysian Maritime Academy in year 1998. He started his sailing career with Malaysian International Shipping Corporation (MISC) Tankers as an Officer. He has sailed on various types of vessels for 5 years. He left his sailing career in 2003 and he joined MSTS (Asia) as a Trainer in Offshore Advance and Basic Training for 2 years. He is now taking charge for the department's overall performance in providing safe and efficient marine services to Port Users and ensure economical and cost-effective solution in service provision for the Company.

NUTTAWUT KRITTAPHOL Mubadala Petroleum Thailand, Thailand Nuttawut Krittaphol, HSSE & AI Manager at Mubadala Petroleum Thailand, graduated with a BEng in Environmental engineering and a MSc in Safety engineering. His working experience includes 8 years with Department of Mineral Fuels and 13 years with upstream oil and gas, private sector. As part of his oversea assignment, he worked in management positions in Malaysia and Bahrain. Upon returning to Thailand business unit, he is responsible to manage Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Asset Integrity functions. His field of expertise includes Operational safety, Process safety, Crisis and Emergency response, Environmental management and Business continuity.

CINDY TAN LER CHIN Employees Provident Fund (EPF)

Cindy Tan Ler Chin (AMN) joined the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) in 1984 upon obtaining an honours degree in Economics, majoring in statistics, from the National University of Malaysia. Since then, she has served in the Finance Department, Treasury Department, Fund Management Function and as the Head of Fixed Income Investment, Head of Investment Compliance and currently, the Head of Risk Management Department. In 1991, she obtained a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance accorded by the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and she attended the Wharton-National University of Singapore Banking Programme in 1995. Cindy Tan also serves as a Non-Independent Non- Executive Director in Malakoff Corporation Berhad since 2007.
