NOTICE OF MEETING La Joya Independent School District Board of Trustees Regular Called Meeting Staff Development Center Wednesday, April 25,2018 6:00 P.M. At any time during the course of this meeting, the Board may retire to Executive Session under Texas Government Code, Section 551.071 (2) to confer with its legal counsel on any subject matter in this agenda in which the duty of the school district's attorney to the school district's Board of Trustees under the Texas Disciplinary Rulesof Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code. Consent Agenda In order to promote efficient meetings, the Boardmay acton more than one item by a single vote through the use of aconsent agenda. The consent agenda shall be comprisedof items for which the Superintendent anticipatesno board deliberation priorto actionbeing taken on the item and for which the Superintendent recommends approval. Consent agenda items areitems placed on this Agenda and marked with an asterisk (*). At the request of any member of the Board of Trustees, any item on the consent agenda shall be removed from the consent agenda and given individual deliberation and action. Requests for removal of an item from the consent agenda are to be made to the presiding officer at the time that the consent agenda is up for consideration.
