You can follow this when you have to add a new song from a lyric sheet from PlanningCenter.

This is just a general instruction; once you have it in ProPresenter, you will probably haveto add blank slides (for pauses) and duplicate verses.

In this example, we're adding "Great Are You Lord".

1. Download the Lyrics from Planning CenterIf you hover on the left number to the right of the song, you'll be able to downloadmedia for that song. We want the lyrics, so it would be the first choice in this list.

2. Copy the text out of the PDF, and into a texteditorIt will open in "Preview", but we need to edit and break the song up into slides. Selectall the text of the song, (but not the header), and select "Edit->Copy".

3. Open a text editor and paste the text into it.Use can use "TextWrangler" or another text editor. Open it, create a new file, andpaste the text.

4. Break the song into slides and remove notes.Between slides, it's a double return. We also need to remove all notes (such as"Bridge:" or "Verse:")

This is what it should look like when you've completed it.

5. Select all Text, and select "Copy"

6. Open ProPresenter and select "File->Import->Import Text from Clipboard".

7. Confirm parameters for import and click "Edit".Make sure the highlighted entries look like this.

8. Using the Lyric PDF, update the songinformation.I've updated the Title, Artist, and Author based on the details in the PDF.

9. Add a title slide.Click just the left of the first slide "You give life, You are love" Then click "Insert SlideBreak". On the new first slide, add the title of the song, in all upper-case. ("GREATARE YOU LORD")

10. Add song structure.Using the original PDF, update each slide to mark what part of the song it is. Clickingthe down arrow to the right of each slide allows you to edit it.

This is what it looks like completed.

11. Click "Import" to add it to the Library.

12. Update order of the song.Using the PDF, at the top, it will list the order of the song. (Not all songs will have this;if not, you'll have to go through the song with whoever is leading worship.)

Copy and paste the different sections in order of the PDF.

13. Add one blank slide at the end.Select the very last slide, then click the "+" to add one blank slide.

14. Reformat the song to the correct font.It used a generic font to create the slides. Select the "Template" button in the upper-right corner. Update it to use the "00 Sunday Fonts" and select the first one in the list.

NOTE: "00 Sunday Fonts" is not listed here.
