Poetry

Rain Rain

Rain rainfalls on the street, mud in puddlescleaning my feet.

Thunder thunderrumble and roar, close the windowsand lock the door.

Clouds cloudsblack and gray, heavy with waterto drop all day.

Sun sunis breaking through, clouds are moving, the rain stops too.

Rainbow rainbowacross the sky,see-through coloursto tickle my eyes.

Our EarthThe Earth is ours to enjoyFor every little girl and boy.But we must always be aware. That all its beauty we must shareWith all the children yet to come,Who want to laugh and play and run Around the trees and in the fields. So we must keep our planet freeFrom messy trash and debrisWith air that's clean and fresh and clearFor all to breathe from year to year.We must never ever abuseOur sweet Earth that's ours to use.
