• an online tool to improve communication between people who work with children
• A database which brings together basic information about all children and young people
• A way to find out who else is working with a child, and his or her family

You do need to know about CAF and the Lead Professional, but do not need to attend the whole training course. Contact the ISA team if you want to know where you can find out more.
If you think someone else in your team, school or service may be the right person to attend CAF training, please pass this on to them

Yes you should book onto a CAF training
session in your area Even if you think you are not going to be using the CAF form with families very often, you should book onto CAF training to ensure you know what to do if
someone calls you to say they are a Lead Professional for a child you are working with, or
asks you to be a part of a CAF plan.
