Work Orders

A Work Order is the top level identifier that contains the ECM image(s). Work Orders can be used for tracking vehicle and equipment repair history.

An Image is a copy of the ECM data Work Orders may contain multiple Images

By default, an “Initial” image is created when connecting to an ECM with the Work Order Mode enabled

By default, a “Final” image is created when disconnecting from an ECM with the Work Order Mode enabled

Additional “User” images may be created under each Work Order while connected to the ECM

Work Orders can be created automatically by INSITE or manually by the user

Duty Cycle Monitor The Duty Cycle Monitor graphically depicts percentages of time that the

vehicle has run within specific operating ranges. Operating ranges are based on engine speed (RPM) vs. torque. Engine speed displays on the X axis. Torque displays on the Y axis of the graph. The values for RPM and torque are defined by the calibration. Each block on the graph shows an intersection of RPM values and

torque values that represent a specific operating range for the engine. The number displayed in each block is a percentage of the total time

that the engine operated in that range. For example, a graph that depicts a total of 500 hours of operating time.

If 5% displays in a block, then the vehicle spent 25 hours operating within that range.
