Transfer of Equity Shares of the Company to the Demat accountof Investors Education and Protection Fund (IEPF)

This Notice is published pursuant to the provisions of sub section (6)of Section 124 of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Investor Educationand Protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer andRefund) Rules, 2016 (IEPF Rules)including any amendment and re-enactment thereof.

In compliance with the above provisions, the equity shares of theCompany in respect of which dividend has not been paid or claimedfor seven consecutive years or more are required to be transferred bythe Company to the demat account of the Investor Education andProtection Fund (IEFP) Authority.

Complying with the requirement as set out in the IEPF rules, theCompany has communicated to the concerned shareholders whoseshares are liable to be transferred to the demat account of IEPFauthority for taking appropriate actions. The Company has alsouploaded the details of such Shareholders on its website www.aptech-worldwide.com

The concerned shareholders can claim the unclaimed dividend bymaking an application to KFin Technologies Private Limited(“KFin”) theRegistrar and Transfer agent of the Company, failing which the con-cerned shares (held either in physical or electronic mode) shall betransferred by the Company to the demat account of IEPF authority.Incase no valid claim in respect of such equity shares is received fromthe concerned shareholders by 20th October, 2020, the Companyshall transfer the shares to the demat account of IEPF authority with aview to comply with the requirement of IEPF rules. Please note that noclaim shall lie against the Company in respect of the unclaimed divi-dend amount and equity shares transferred to the Demat account ofIEPF authority, pursuant to IEPF rules.

In case of Shares held in physical form, the same are liable to be trans-ferred to the Demat account of IEPF Authority, by issuing new sharecertificates and upon issue of such new share certificates, the originalshare certificate(s) which stand registered in your name will bedeemed cancelled and non-negotiable.In case of Shares held in dematform, the same are also liable to be transferred to Demat account ofIEPF Authorityfor which the Company will give delivery instruction slipto the Depository for transfer of shares to IEPF.

Shareholders can however claim both the unclaimed dividend amountand the equity shares transferred to IEPF Suspense Account by mak-ing an application in Form IEPF 5 online and followingthe necessaryprocedure prescribed under the Companies Act, 2013 and IEPFRules.
