PRE-READING STAGE :

A- As a pre-reading activity,students work in pairs to find out what the pictures have in common and what ecological problem they show.

-Students discuss the consequences of these problems.

B- Sts read the text and choose the appropriate title for each paragraph. KEY : A .3 - B.5 - C .4 - D.1 - E.2

C-Sts read paragraph D and fill in the chart with the right information. KEY:

D-Sts answer the questions using information from the text:1- Because of its importance for the global ecosystems and maintaining the right quality of life for all the species.2- Parts of the foret are cleared to provide a grazing land for the cattle.3- T could generate problems such as change of climate,soil erosion and landslides.
