PRE-LISTENING STAGE:
A- Students identify the oceans in the map and put their names in the right place.B- Pair work : Students look at the pictures and try to identify the sea speies they know and the
ones they don’t know.C- With a partner;students identify the species that might be endangered,Write down and discuss
some of the dangers fish in the different oceans in the world might face.Then they discuss their ideas with the whole class.
WHILE LISTENING:
PART ONE: A- Sts read the multiple choice question,listen again to part 1 and then choose the correct answer.B- Sts listen again to part 1 and complete the suggested notes. A- Students read the dialogue and answer the focus question: KEY: Because she failed her last test.
B- Students read the dialogue again and find expressions of hopes and wishes.Key:

PRE-READING STAGE :
A- As a pre-reading activity,students work in pairs to find out what the pictures have in common and what ecological problem they show.
-Students discuss the consequences of these problems.
B- Sts read the text and choose the appropriate title for each paragraph. KEY : A .3 - B.5 - C .4 - D.1 - E.2
C-Sts read paragraph D and fill in the chart with the right information. KEY:
Causes of deforestation Urban expansion Farming and grazing land Logging industry Cattle grazing cash crops
D-Sts answer the questions using information from the text:1- Because of its importance for the global ecosystems and maintaining the right quality of life for all the species.2- Parts of the foret are cleared to provide a grazing land for the cattle.3- T could generate problems such as change of climate,soil erosion and landslides.
E-A s follow up, sts work in pairs or small groups of 4 to write down lists of things we shouldn’t do and measures to be taken to preserve our forests.
F - Sts discuss their ideas with the whole class.
