A new crimp tool, J-38125-643 used to crimp the new .64 Kaizen and

two Bosch .64 terminals, was sent mid-year 2005.

This update included an assortment of SIR/SRS connector CPAs that are to be placed in the SIR Repair Kit Tray. These CPAs are not available from GMSPO.

Install the new inventory label on the inside of the SIR Tray lid opposite the outside label.

The new Connector Parts Tray contains bags of 5@ of 12 TPA part numbers for Delphi .64 connections systems.

The shrink tube J-38125-TUBE as well as the selection of TPAsmakeup the new Connector Parts Tray. These parts are not

available from GMSPO.

A new plastic tool box J-38125-625 was released in 2003 to store the new crimp tools of which there are now eight.

when delivered to the Dealer.

• There will be a subsequent J-38125-771 shipped later in 2007 which will contain some service terminals that were not included in the November shipment.

• Once the update is completed, the Kit will now be called a J-38125-G Terminal Repair Kit.

• A new 7th 5 drawer metal cabinet (J-38125-610) must be ordered to hold this year’s new Lear Tray 28.

• The current J-38125-620C Instruction Manual will be aligned with the same suffix “G”.

• It is imperative that all prior updates to the J-38125 Terminal Repair Kit be done prior to this update.

• Follow the instructions that will be sent with the J-38125-770 update for best results.

• Some terminals will be deleted and some must be moved to another tray position prior to performing this update!

• New date coded tray labels will be included in this update.

• The J-38125 Terminal Repair Kit should stabilize after this update.

• 2 New Male Test Probes J-35616-14 (Green) should be placed in the current J-35616-C Test probe kit.

• The new inside inventory and outside tool number label should be applied to the current J-35616-C Test probe kit making it a J-35616-D Test probe kit.

This shows the difference between the old J-35616-4A test probe and the new J-35616-35 test probe.

You should discard any of the old (thicker) -4A test probes you may

have.

The new J-35616-35 test probe was released to test GT 280 (and other terminals) (2.80mm wide x 0.80mm) used in high current circuits as well as fuse and relay connections in a BEC.

The terminal used for the J-35616-2A probe was sized (1.50mm wide x

0.80mm thick) to fit the Delphi GT 150 terminal.

The J-35616-14 probe was sized (1.50mm wide x 0.64mm thick) to fit the Delphi M/P 150 terminal as well as all

other 150 female terminals.

CAUTION!

In both the J-35616-2A and the J-35616-14 cases only the “thickness” of the terminal used has been changed. The -2A is thicker and the -14 is thinner.

These changes were made to match the internal dimensions of the female terminals you are testing.

Do not measure a male terminal in the J-38125 Repair Kit as a comparison.
