Eligibility
• Leadership (student government, community service, internships,
political activities)
• Full-time second-year student (in any field) working towards your
first degree
• High academic standing

Application Process Overview
• Information packages for first round
• Nominated students submit applications
• Global Leaders selected on applications
• Global Leaders go to Award Ceremony and interviews
• European representatives go to New York

Seeking Nomination – Information Packages
• Completed nomination form (download!)
• Curriculum vitae
• First-year university transcripts/results
• Personal statement (1000 words or less)
• Submit packages by December 15, 2006
• Nominees notified by early February 2007

Successful Nominees – Application Process
• Nominees access online application
• Nomination materials may be reused (but must be resubmitted)
• Additional materials include online application form and
recommendation letters
• Deadline March 9, 2007

The Award – First Stage
• European Award Ceremony weekend,
London, May 2007
• $3000 cash award
• Designated as Global Leader
• Eligibility for alumni activities

The Award – Second Stage
• 50 winners worldwide selected to represent the group at
the Global Leadership Institute
• Global Leaders from US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, South
Africa, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Indonesia,
Australia
• European representatives selected based on interviews in
London

• Global, organizational, personal leadership
• Seminars by leading US scholars and senior
Goldman Sachs executives (Speakers have included:

Social Enterpreneurship Grants
• Grants of up to $20,000, awarded annually
• Only Global Leaders eligible to apply
• To date, approximately $110,000 US seed grant funds have been allocated for Global Leaders social entrepreneurship projects worldwide.
