About FMSFMS an ISO 9001:2008 certified faculty was established in 1996,
initially it started with MBA program and in the year 2000 two
more programs were added in the course basket. Besides this
Ph.D. program is also supporting the academic vibrations,51
Ph.D. degrees have been awarded since its inception. Nearly
1500 alumnus are working in responsible and strong echelon
leadership positions in various MNC’s.This year BBA program
too favored the academic add ons to strengthen the student
fraternity.Faculty aims at developing the competent professional
managers for ensuing competitive business environment and to
infuse entreprenureship style in budding managers. FMS is
ranked among premier Indian B-schools for its efforts in
managerial capacity building. It is also offering training,
consultancy and advisory services to professionally managed
companies and entrepreneural set-ups cutting across the whole
spectrum of the human resource developement.
About the ConferenceInnovation is the introduction and creation of something new, in
the form of an idea, skill, product, service or process, that helps
improve an organization or society. International Conference on
Management Innovations (ICMI-2014) is a holistic move to align
together today's leading innovators and thought leaders of
business management and related disciplines. It aims to give
opportunity to participants to explore policies, measures and
mechanisms for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in
various areas. Innovational practices and their management in
organization is a key strategic issue these days. It is of interest to
both practitioners and researchers across a range of business
and management disciplines. So, to find out some common
definitions, practices and techniques of innovation, studies on
companies are required.
ICMI-2014 provides a forum for the dissemination of original research results, ideas and practical experiences in management settings. It also hopes to introduce a wider view to business innovation for creating value through research studies on innovative processes, organizational practices, systems, supply chain design and other mechanisms that are related to business operations in practice. Participants can showcase their model programs, share lessons learned and look to the future by experiencing a wide array of new ideas through the conference streams.
The ICMI is a premier event for professionals dedicated to improve organizational teaching and learning, industrial methods and practices, systems, methods and discovering new approaches for enhancing value for society. The conference also provides a tremendous forum for collaboration among academic experts and leading community of corporate professionals.
About Haridwar Haridwar is an important holy and pilgrimage city
situated on the bank of river Ganges. The name of the
town has two spellings: Hardwar and Haridwar, both of
these have their own connotation, in Sanskrit “Har”
means lord Shiva and “dwar” means gateway, hence
Hardwar means “Gateway to Lord Shiva” and is
considered as a holy place to start pilgrimage journey to
mount Kailash, the eternal abode of lord Shiva. On the
other hand, “Hari” means lord Vishnu and Haridwar
means gateway to lord Vishnu. Today, the city is
developing beyond its religious importance, with the
fast developing industrial estate of State Industrial
Development Corporation of Uttarakhand (SIDCUL),
and the close by township of Bharat Heavy Electricals
Limited(BHEL) in Ranipur, Uttarakhand as well as its
affiliated ancillaries. The ambience of enchanting
mantras and scenic beauty makes it is an ideal place to
earn insights into higher learnings. For journey by Air:
Nearest International Airport : Indira Gandhi
International Airport, New Delhi.
Domestic Airport: Jolly Grant, Bhaniawala (Dehradun),
41 km from Haridwar.
For journey by Rail:Haridwar is well connected via Rail with almost all
important cities of India.
For journey by Road:
Haridwar on National Highway No. 58, is well connected
to all major cities and other parts of the states.
Weather:The night and day temperature in Haridwar ranges
between 10°C-25°C during the month of February.
About the University Gurukul Kangri University is an elite institution of Vedic and yoga studies founded in 1902 by Arya samaj legendry figure Swami Shraddhanandaji with an objective to impart value based education in the areas of vedic literature, Indian philosophy and culture, yoga science, social sciences, and to prepare students with a strong character of nationalism and humanity. It is a deemed to be University fully funded by UGC/Govt. of India with four campuses in the Himalyan state of India named Uttarakhand. Paper Submission and Author Guidelines
Script preparation
The original typescript in A4 size format, with a word
count of 5000-7000 (excluding figures) should be
emailed to and cc to
with a separate file containing
the title of the paper, plus the names, affiliation and
complete addresses, e-mail and fax number of authors,
and an abstract, keywords, brief biographical notes
about authors. The text of the paper (format and
language as per Academy of Management Journal style
guide) should include title, abstract, text, references and
notes, tables, figure captions, figures, but not the names
of authors, their biographical notes or any
acknowledgments. Please make sure that authors'
names are not included in the document/file properties.
If English is not your first language, please ask an English-
speaking colleague to proofread your paper. The
preferred electronic document format is PDF, although
for editing purpose manuscript in MS Word form is also
required.
