opportunity for first-hand experience of Buddhist spirit.

6. University MuseumA Buddhist museum established in 1963. It houses over 3,100 relics including

2 national treasures and 9 valuable historic items.

7. Manhae MonumentA symbolic monument built in a tribute to Manhae Han Yong-Un who was among

the first graduates of Dongguk. Nice looking, comfortable benches provides you with

a pleasant space to meet your friends.

8. Outdoor CafeA place to enjoy a happy cup of coffee in the fresh air.

9. Hanul Maru (Rooftop Garden)Beautiful gardens on the rooftop of each building on the campus. In particular,

the Hanul Maru on top of the Central Library gives you a fantastic view of Namsan

and Seoul’scity center.

10. Dongguk Hall of HonorA hall installed to briefly introduce the donors of Dongguk. The hall is located on the

third floor of the main building, the most visited spot on campus, so that as many

Dongguk people as possible become aware of the donors.
