disCussion questions1. How do you deal with interruptions? Can you share a story of how God used an interruption
for someone’s good and his glory?
2. Shame and honor dynamics in relationships are largely foreign to most Americans. Read and discuss the issues raised in this article: thegospelcoalition.org/article/overcoming-the-culture-of-shame
3. The woman came fearful and trembling to Jesus (vs. 47). What causes you to fear? Think and talk together about what biblical promises would bring God’s power and love to bear in each situation.
4. Since you are not unnoticed by Jesus, what encouragements are yours because the King of all kings is mindful of you?
5. Over and over again in Luke, Jesus ministers to those “on the fringes.” Read Isaiah 58:6–12. Does this text spark ideas, bring names to mind or convict you of situations where you can minister to the disenfranchised as Jesus did? Share with your group, conspire ways to practically serve and pray together for opportunities to be Jesus in these situations.
