The exclusive TopMobiel Preview Night will be held on Wednesday, 10 January
2018, on the eve of the 2018 edition of InterClassics Maastricht. You and your guests will
be more than welcome from 18:30 to come and enjoy an evening programme chock full
of activities, including a surprising show and live music. Come experience all of this in an
exclusive setting, where you will be surrounded by the most beautiful and unique classic
cars from 25 years of InterClassics, the theme of the 2018 InterClassics Maastricht event.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary edition of InterClassics, you will be treated to
culinary pampering courtesy of Toine Hermsen, owner of the restaurant of the same name,
and Hans van Wolde of the restaurant Beluga Loves You.

Culinary eveninG in
a unique setting
Party caterer and event organiser Maison van den Boer will be working exclusively for
the TopMobiel Preview Night during this anniversary edition of InterClassics Maastricht, where they
will be joined by the two celebrated chefs (and friends), Toine Hermsen and Hans van Wolde.
Before Toine Hermsen opened his own restaurant, Toine Hermsen, on 1 October 1990 in
Maastricht, he was the chef at Restaurant Juliana in nearby Valkenburg. He received a Michelin
star in 1993, and between 1998 and 2001, he was even awarded two stars. Many chefs
have trained under Toine including Nico Boreas, Huub Biro, Margo Reuten and Hans van Wolde
of the restaurant Beluga Loves You. Quality with the drive to achieve perfection in simplicity
and hospitality, in much the same manner as you would host your closest friends, this is Toine
Hermsen’s motto, a philosophy that will be on full display during the TopMobiel Preview Night.

Once a student of Toine Hermsen, chef Hans van Wolde has been the owner of the
restaurant Beluga Loves You in Maastricht since 1997. He received a Michelin star in 1998,
and succeeded in adding a second star in 2005. Hans enjoys taking his guests along on a
journey through his world of flavours, aromas, colour and hospitality, and is particularly fond
of showing his guests how contradictions can be merged. Beluga Loves You!
During the TopMobiel Preview Night, you will be able to enjoy dishes prepared by these two
culinary heroes in a unique setting.

He was brought up with a predilection for music. The name ‘Tuur’ has become synonymous
with music, and he has been producing his own style and sound for over 12 years. Just
imagine: creating your own world, moving people, creating a stir in your audience. His style
defies simple classification and may best be described as funky deep house with jazzy live
performances. His live performers help him bring music to life. Feel the vibe!

Cancer Research Fund Limburg
Cancer research is one of the most important spearheads of the Maastricht UMC+/azM
medical facility. Together, they are working to achieve an ideal scenario in which cancer is
a thing of the past. This will, however, require a great deal of research which costs a lot
of money. The Cancer Research Fund Limburg (a partnership between Health Foundation
Limburg, Maastricht UMC+ and the Dutch Cancer Society) wants to get Limburg involved in
the fight against cancer in order to raise more money that will go directly to fund research
at Maastricht UMC+.
Quiet
Quiet aims to raise awareness about and alleviate poverty. Quiet Community Maastricht
recruits local sponsors in order to offer its ‘members (taking turns, via a digital system)’
something they normally couldn’t afford: from a second-hand bicycle to a special dinner, and
from a haircut to tickets to a show or football match. Quiet also wants to give people living in
poverty the opportunity to (re-) discover their talents and put them to use, as a volunteer for
example; not only is this good for their self-esteem, it also benefits those they help.
