Albemarle Gallery is proud to announce the publication of a luxury hardback, limited edition book accompanying the exhibition of calligraphic works by the highly esteemed Indian / Pakistan artist Jamil Naqsh entitled The Painted Word.
This stunning clothbound book limited to 100 copies contains a signed, unique calligraphic work on paper. Each book is also signed by the artist and author Edward Lucie-Smith. Along with 416 colour illustrations the text written by the eminent Art Historian Edward Lucie-Smith, focuses on calligraphy, with reference to ancient and contemporary scripts, with a detailedexplanation of the concept of the 99 Names of God.
Each edition has a numerically corresponding original work on paper signed by the artist as illustrated in this brochure.
