There is so much to celebrate in October! Try celebrating some of these fun things next week:

● Tuesday, October 19: National New Friends Day

● Thursday, October 21: International Day of the Nacho

● Friday, October 22: Eat a Pretzel Day

Check out our Brehms Campus Google Site.This is going to be our main platform for updates &

communication. We have also received the results from the Asymptomatic COVID Pool testing

(10/11/21). One 3rd

grade COVID testing pool and two 5th

grade COVID testing pools produced

positive test results. We will be testing again on Monday, October 18, 2021. Asymptomatic COVID

Pool testing is one way we are able to provide a safe learning community for students and staff.

“Peacefulness” is our virtue for next week. Peacefulness is an inner sense of calm. Peacefulness is a

way of approaching conflict with others so that no one is made wrong. With peacefulness, everyone

wins. Encourage your child to practice peacefulness, by becoming still and thinking peaceful

thoughts. Remind them that violence never solves anything. Our BE Ten Expectation theme for

October is still "Silent Hallways".
