CHILDREN’S MINISTRY NEED

We are in need of RA (Royal Ambas-sadors) and GA (Girls in Action) lead-ers. Mrs. Hurt is prayerfully seeking

three teams of 2 leaders each to teach boys and girls separately (K-5th grade) one Wednesday a

month as follows:

1st Wednesday—Missions Emphasis 2nd Wednesday—Bible Drill 3rd Wednesday—Bible Drill

The fourth Wednesday of each month, all children are combined for their monthly movie night. Please

contact Mrs. Joyce Hurt at 830-391-0262 to volunteer.

MINISTRY SURVEY

In order to better meet the needs of our church members, a ministry survey has been inserted into today’s bulletin. Whether you have a need, or you’re willing to help meet the need of someone else, please complete the form and place it in the offering plate or give it to Pastor Terry Smith.

BUSINESS MEETING

We will be meeting to discuss church business on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center. Members,

please attend this important meeting. A minimum of 30

members must be present to have a quorum. Any reports or business to be discussed should be submitted to the church office

by Monday, August 21, 2017.

We will be celebrating the ordinance of baptism both today and next Sun-

day, August 20, 2017, during the 10:30 am worship services. Baptis-mal candidates should have received a letter. Please contact Penny in the

church office to be scheduled.

THE FUN BUNCH TO OLIVE GARDEN

The Fun Bunch will venture out on Friday, August 18, 2017, to enjoy lunch together at the Olive Garden restaurant in San An-tonio. Anyone wishing to attend should sign up in the foyer for this fun bunch of senior (and not-so-senior) adults. Please meet in the back parking lot at 10:00 am. YOUTH CHOIR TO PERFORM

FBC’s youth choir will be leading in worship at Crossroads Baptist Church in San Antonio (8300 Tezel Rd.) this evening, August 13, 2017, at 5:30 pm. Students, let’s plan to meet at the church at 4:00 pm. Also, watch your phones for text messages about a send-off event for our college freshmen.

YOUTH PROMOTION

Students, come to Bible Study on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at 9:00 am for a pancake breakfast. We’ll welcome the incoming 7th graders and attend our new classes. Let’s kick off the new school year right

by focusing on the Lord.

Wednesday Night IMPACT will kick off on August 23, 2017. The

church bus will pick up 7th-12th graders at their campuses after

school, and the youth committee will feed the students until

Wednesday Night Suppers begin.
