With Verbs, you speak about yourself or someone else; or to someone else, both or all; either masculine or feminine. ر       ر        gave victory to ع ر   Observations: extra letters are only added to the end of extra letters may be added t o the beginning and end o f عر   ن ا ر     ـ   is used in the dual form for ا  ب ط an d ب ا in th e ع ر   ر     ـ   is u sed for بط ا1 male and ا 1 female the same form was used Benefit: the ف اof the 3 rd form (مھ) is not pronounced, though it must be written. It is called ف أ  و ا(the alif of protection), to protect verbs like أ وا ذ   (they took) where the وis not joined to the body of the verb & may be mistaken for the conjunction و meaning ‘and’.
