Today we celebrate Easter, the death and resurrection of our Lord. Easter also symbolizes our path of life. Jesus had faced trouble, misunderstanding, rejection and trial. As Christians, we also face difficulties, indifference and tribulations, but our faith in Jesus who is mercy, love, and forgiveness, gives us hope, joy, and happiness, because he overcame death itself, and gave us a new life. Therefore, today, I would like to wish you who belongs to St. Anthony Church, a
joyful Easter. The risen Lord may bring you peace, love, and understanding. Fr. Ademir
TODAY COLLECTION Every Easter, we join with family and friends to honor and thank our priests. The Scalabrinian priests celebrate our joys, comfort us in times of crisis or sorrow, and are there during the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life. Remember priests such as Fr. Properzi, Fr. Vicent, Fr. Minchiatti who have made a meaningful difference in your life, and consider honoring him them with a generous gift today’s collection. Our priests have dedicated their lives to serving us. Now, it is our turn to fulfill the promises made to care for them in their time of need. Thank you for you prayerful and generous support of our priests.

FELIZ PÁSCOA
Na Páscoa celebramos a ressurreição de Jesus. Jesus da misericórdia, do perdão, da compaixão venceu o pecado, a morte e está à direita de Deus. Quando participamos da Ceia do Senhor, proclamamos ao mundo nossa fé no sacrifício expiatório de Cristo e em Sua segunda vinda. É o momento em que reconhecemos o quanto éramos e estávamos escravizados pelo pecado e pelo mundo, assim como o quanto necessitávamos de um Salvador, Jesus Cristo. A Páscoa também simboliza a caminhada da nossa vida: tribulações, mentiras, ofensas, mal entendidos, e desencontros ; mas a oferta de Cristo por nos permitiu uma vida na qual o triunfo, o amor, a criatividade, a fecundidade e a crença na ressurreição eterna nos possibilitem viver a ressurreição do amor, da graça, da paz, da unção, da unidade, da alegria, da esperança, da comunhão e da fé em nossos relacionamentos que nos faz a ter um olhar a vida com esperança e justiça porque Ele caminha conosco. Neste ano do centenário a nossa Comunidade deu passos significativos: aumentaram as crianças na catequese, a participação nas missas continua melhorando, e os grupos das pastorais se redefinindo e clarificando cada vez mais o seu papel dentro da igreja. Que vocês comemore com sua família e em sua igreja essa ordenança tão especial e importante para nossa vida espiritual e física, pois, quando participamos da Ceia do Senhor, somos purificados e curados no corpo, na alma e no espírito. Por tudo isso, quero desejar uma Feliz Páscoa para cada paroquiano e família que pertence e faz esta Igreja de Santo Antônio.

Os padres Scalabrinianos, junto com imigrantes Italianos fundaram esta igreja e continuam assistindo esta comunidade, hoje, brasileira.
