The only exceptions to this rule are men with specialist ratings. The local board also announced that a news report published last week that Dean Dee Cox of Torrance and Frank Orla Hinck- ley of Lomita had been Inducted Into the Army "by mistake of the board" was in error The mistake, board officials declared, was made by Army authorities at Ft. MaoArthur who sent the two young men to Ft. Knox, I Ky., when they were scheduled to enter Air Corps training. The local board members inslstei they were only following orders nd that these instructions were well known to the young men and their parents. Hereafter, whenever a draf registrant is ordered to repor for medical examination) he mus be prepared to be inducted im mediately if he is found physi cally fit.
