In the opening title sequence of '13 going on 30' it shows that it has been made from 'Revolution studios' and shows who the production teams of the movie are then shows the main characters names all on a fantasy/ magical background with music playing throughout then the glitter effect slowly fades away into the movie starting and the music fade away but is still playing throughout but quietly

Out of focus background makes the text standout because pink

stands out from dark blue

This is represented by the hall that all the students are in. The different age groups

that are shown, the teachers in the distance also the photographer and his backdrop with

the clouds and the lighting and camera shows that is photo day at school and all the

students are excited about there photos been taken

close up on Jenna's face as she looks at the image and she walking away from the desk as Jenna walks away there are titles of other actors/ actress that are in the film, in this scene the audience see the first appeared of the second main character and the relationship between them both which is shown as them being best friends and also shows the closeness by 'Mark' puts his arm around 'Jenna', then the appearance of the villain of the film is shown and she is shown as the most popular student at school and very two faced by her attitude towards Jenna and Mark she is shown as being mean and making inappropriate comments. The evil character of the film is also shown as conniving by the way she talks and shows of it is also shown when she persuades Jenna to do her school project for her which shows that she is a very persuasive character.
