What is my purpose in life?

PURPOSE IN CHRIST

Your purpose in life in found IN Christ!

16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and 

for Him. (Colossians 1: 16-17)

PURPOSE IN CHRIST

• Our personal purpose is always embedded into God’s kingdom purpose!

• When you find your place in His Kingdom purpose, you will also find the specific role that He has prepared in advance for you to do.

PURPOSE IN CHRIST

• Paul, the apostle of Jesus Christ had a clear revelation of kingdom purpose in Christ, of which he took pains to write it in as many ways in his letters to the churches. Here’s how he put it:

1. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10)

PURPOSE IN CHRIST

2. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation…(2 Corinthians 5:17-18)

PURPOSE IN CHRIST

Put together, the 2 passages and it reads:

“Therefore, if anyone is a new creation in Christ, he has been created for good works, which is

being committed to the ministry of reconciliation, that we should walk in them”

PURPOSE IN CHRIST

Paul continues to echo our purpose in Christ:1.Jesus said, “…I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you to serve and bear witness ... to whom I send you to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me. (Acts 26: 16-18)

PURPOSE IN CHRIST

2. And so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man’s foundation,  but as it is written: “To whom He was not announced, they shall see;And those who have not heard shall understand.” (Romans 15: 20-21)

3. For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel! (1 Cor 9:16)4. But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen! (2 Timothy 4:17-18)

PURPOSE IN CHRIST

This is how we know that we are in Him, Whoever claims to live in Him, must walk as Jesus did (1 John 2:5-6)

PURPOSE IN CHRIST

Our clear purpose in Christ is to make disciples!

PURPOSE IN CHRIST

As a church, EAGLEPOINT’s purpose in Christ is to make disciples

 ”Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy 

Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the 

end of the age.” Amen. (Matt 28:19-20)

PURPOSE IN CHRIST

• Paul said, “For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
