ATR VERDICT: The Willie Mullins/Ruby Walsh/Rich Ricci triumvirate have won the last threerenewals of this contest with Champagne Fever (2013), Vautour (2014) and Douvan (2015) and MIN,who represents the same connections, may be able to continue their recent success. By the same sireas Douvan (Walk In The Park) the former Yannick Fouin representative was a relatively cheappurchase, costing just 6,000 euros from France. Despite his moderate sales fee, however, the dogswere barking about him long before he debuted for his new stable, and he has now started to justify thehype by slamming subsequent winner Gurteen at Punchestown and then producing a scintillatingdisplay to score again at Punchestown, beating Ball D'Arc (who has come out and won Listed andGrade 2 hurdles contests since to frank the form) very easily. Both Vautour and Douvan won the sameprep race at Punchestown en route to landing this contest and he's expected to get the Willie Mullinsaccumulators up and down the land off to a winning start. Nicky Henderson has not won the Supremesince 1992, with his list of beaten horses since then including the likes of Binocular (2008), Spirit Son(2011), Sprinter Sacre (2011), My Tent Or Yours (2013) and L'Ami Serge (2015). Several of thoserunners have landed minor money, though, and his pair Altior and Buveur D'Air, along with Bellshill, who ran too bad to be true on testing ground in the Deloitte, could be the ones to put up mostresistance. Like the last-named, Supasundae could improve for better ground if he can polish up hisjumping and is one to interest each-way punters at a bigger price. Top Tip: MIN Watch out for: ALTIOR

ATR VERDICT: All eyes will be on DOUVAN, who looked every inch a superstar when running out amost impressive winner of last year's Supreme Novices' Hurdle before putting Sizing John in his placethe following month at Punchestown. Willie Mullins' gelding has arguably taken his taken form to aneven higher level in three starts over fences this season, again seeing off Sizing John on Boxing Daybefore producing a fine exhibition of steeplechasing in the Irish Arkle at Leopardstown in January. Withconnections particularly bullish about his chances in recent weeks, he is impossible to oppose in whatnow appears a weaker renewal than usual. Old foe Sizing John is a wonderful jumper himself and willcertainly appreciate getting back on decent ground, while trainer Henry De Bromhead has given him agood break since Christmas and is adamant his charge will put it up to Douvan with conditions nowmore in his favour. He is a top-class performer in his own right and is expected to claim the silvermedal, while The Game Changer, another who has been saved for spring ground, is expected to beridden for a place and might be able to come home well to help form an Irish 1-2-3. With the defectionof L'Ami Serge, Vaniteux represents Nicky Henderson but, as was the case over hurdles, he shapeslikes he wants more of a test and his fencing will need to sharpen up if he is to keep tabs on theseearly on. Top Tip: DOUVAN Watch out for: SIZING JOHN

ATR VERDICT: Carole's Destrier was a good winner at Sandown last time but the runner-up failedto do much for the form in the Eider, while Theatre Guide romped to victory at Kempton latest but an11lb rise is going to make his life more difficult. Kruzhlinin is up 10lb for winning comfortably atKempton latest and it's feasible he could improve enough to defy a 10lb rise, but preference is forSOUTHFIELD THEATRE. Paul Nicholls' charge went close in the 2014 Pertemps and again ran well atthe Festival last year, chasing home Don Poli in the RSA. Though his two runs this term both ended inignominious defeat, he tackles handicaps for the first time over fences here and is only 3lb higher thanhis nose defeat in the Pertemps. Irish raider Morning Assembly ran well at this meeting back in 2014and could be well handicapped now back up in trip, while Newbury novice chase winner Out Sam isunexposed and Beg To Differ appears to be hitting top gear for Jonjo O'Neill, who also has Holywell tocall upon. ATR VERDICT: Annie Power steps in for the injured Faugheen but she is far too short for a marewho has never run in a top-class race over two miles. In addition, she has not raced in any event ofnote since being beaten in the 2014 World Hurdle and her jumping might not be good enough at 2mchampionship level. IDENTITY THIEF will relish this better ground, having been outstayed by NicholsCanyon at Leopardstown last time. The son of Kayf Tara has benefited from a break since that day, unlike his conqueror, and he is arguably open to the most improvement of all the runners. WillieMullins' second string probably doesn't get the respect he deserves as a six-time Grade 1 winner andhe could prove tough to pass from the front. The New One should run his usual race and finish third orfourth, while Sempre Medici could go well at a big price. Top Tip: IDENTITY THIEF Watch out for: NICHOLS CANYON

ATR VERDICT: Bookmakers up and down the country breathed a huge sigh of relief when AnniePower tumbled at the last in this contest 12 months ago. Willie Mullins' seven-year-old had been sentoff 1-2 after victories earlier on the card for Douvan, Un De Sceaux and Faugheen for the sametrainer/jockey combination, and it is possible, by the time this race comes around, the layers may againbe staring down the barrel of some large liabilities from similar accumulators - in which VROUMVROUM MAG could be the last leg. The selection may only running in this race because Annie Poweris bidding to break her Festival duck in the Champion Hurdle, but the fact connections are prepared torun her here in place of their leading mare, who seemingly had the race at her mercy, speaks volumes, and their confidence in trying to retain the race for the yard for the eighth season in succession wouldhave been boosted by her effortless Grade 2 victory at Ascot in January. Polly Peachum (second) andBitofapuzzle (third) were flattered by their losing margins in last year's renewal as both rivals, alongwith the winner, would have been soundly beaten had Annie Power stayed on her feet. However, theformer, in particular, may be of interest to some in the 'without the favourite' market and she is a solidbenchmark that also makes some each-way appeal nevertheless. On the form of her Sandown secondin January, The Govaness is another to consider for the minor money. Top Tip: VROUM VROUM MAG Watch out for: POLLY PEACHUM

ATR VERDICT: Minella Rocco has been all the rage for this event since he chased home Vyta DuRoc in the Grade 2 Reynoldstown Novices' Chase last month, but the form of that race may bemisleading, as the two favourites went far too fast and this son of Shirocco was badly outpaced prior tostaying on past tired rivals. It is hard to see why Noble Endeavor is shorter in the betting thanMEASUREOFMYDREAMS, who put the Gordon Elliott-trained runner in his place when he was afortunate winner of the Grade 2 Ten Up Novice Chase last month. One of three runners for WillieMullins, the selection should relish this test of stamina, whereas Noble Endeavor has shown plenty ofpace over 2m4f and there has to be major stamina doubts over the son of Flemensfirth. PontAlexandre made a highly impressive comeback when winning at Punchestown in December but he hasbeen found out in better races since. That said, he has enough class to make his presence felt if hesees out the trip. Southfield Royale had Native River behind in the Feltham but the latter lookedoutpaced around a sharp 3m and could well reverse that form today. Others worth noting includeBallychorus, Definitly Red, Local Show and Vicente. Top Tip: MEASUREOFMYDREAMS Watch out for: NATIVE RIVER

ATR VERDICT: A very compressed handicap with just 4lb separating top from bottom.ALOOMOMO has been a revelation this season and he has plenty of experience over fences, witheight starts over the larger obstacles. He demolished a very competitive field over 2m6f at Newbury inNovember and has had his mark protected since then. On his sole subsequent start the WarrenGreatrex-trained runner was not beaten far in a decent novice hurdle at Ascot last month, which shouldhave put him spot on for today. Willow's Saviour has only tasted defeat over fences in a Grade 1 over2m, when he was beaten by the likes of Ar Mad and Bristol De Mai. Double Shuffle contested two hotnovice chases here earlier in the season and is only 4lb higher than when he made a winning handicapdebut in December, while the better ground will also benefit him. If Ballyalton can rediscover hishurdles form from when he chased home Faugheen in the Neptune in 2014, then he would have amassive chance. However, his jumping has not been good enough in small field novice events and hewill find this big field test even tougher. Last year's Fred Winter second Bouvreuil has been tried, andwell beaten, in Graded company over 2m twice this season but on his sole start over further he beatVyta Du Roc over 2m3f at Doncaster. Top Tip: ALOOMOMO Watch out for: BOUVREUIL
