1. Introduction.

Fourteen (14) years ago, the Holy Spirit led me into Forty (40) days Fasting ofPrayer and Intercession for the Body of Christ and nations of the world, whichculminates in the release of the prophecy for the New Year in my annualPROPHETIC REVELATION FOR NIGERIA & THE WORLD series.

The Lord has done so much for the world since the divine sacri ce andresurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!

The 2018 forty (40) days fasting promises to be a highly rewarding spiritualexercise and engagement of the spiritual realm of the Almighty God for theenforcement of divine prophecies and revelations.

The Fasting Guidelines provide a direction and mode of spiritual operationsfor those who would like to take part in all or part of the fasting days,including the prayer focus.

However, I must strictly advise that you should not engage in the full fast orfast at all, if your health could not sustain it or if your medical situation oradvice is against fasting except you have a direct leading of the Holy Spirit foryou to join us in the fasting as laid out in these guidelines.

2. The Nature of the Fast & Warnings (!)

a) Since the very beginning of the fast, the direct divine instruction has beento engage in the fast and break the fast between 6pm and 11pm daily withWATER & FRUITS ONLY. Fruits may include Coconut. Organic Lime or Lemonmay be added to your water. DO NOT EAT ANYTHING DURING THE DAYEXCEPT AT 6PM EVERY DAY.

b) You may chose to join the fast at any day you prefer or ministered to youby the Holy Spirit.

c) Please, avoid drinking cold or iced water during this period of fasting. Avoidhighly acidic fruits like unripe orange, unripe lemon or unripe lime except youmix them with natural water.

d) Avoid packaged fruit juices during the fasting; instead make smoothies withorganic fruits.

e ) Avoid bottled carbonated drinks during the fasting; pure water at roomtemperature or warm is best.

f ) Abstain from sexual activities on fasting day (except if your wife/husbanddoes not consent, abstinence is best, so discuss with your wife/husband. Youmay skip a fasting day if this is not feasible for a particular fasting day).

g) Avoid quarrels, arguments and fight during this period of fasting.

h) Do not engage in full fasting or fast at all if your health could not sustain itor if your medical situation or advice is against fasting except you have adirect leading of the Holy Spirit for you to join us in the fasting as laid out inthese guidelines.

3. PRAYER FOCUS.

Our books Bible Study for the fasting period are the books of Daniel,Revelation and Romans.

These books of the Bible should be read from the beginning chapter to theend; however, you may start with any of the books rst. They can be read atany time but strictly during the Bible Study time belt.

Also, the Lord shall grant you revelations, visions and angelic encounterduring these periods, especially during the DEWG/Worship

The prayer focus follows the pattern as set out in the Intercession Time Tablebelow.

The direction of prayers is Prophetic Intercessions in agreement with thetheme of the Fasting as revealed by the Lord.

The Lord always reveals the Theme for the New Year after the fasting.

The Theme for the Year 2019 is: Year of Divine Enforcement.

Matthew 11:12: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdomof heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

2019 is a year to enforce your destiny, prophecy, blessing, anointing andcalling.

It takes the spiritually violent child of God to enforce divine prophecy andexecutive divine judgment upon the adversary.

Advancing in the kingdom and possessing your possession is not funfair butwarfare!

The powers of darkness and anti-Christ agents are prowling all over nationsand territories; they are using subtlety, deceit and camou age to deceive thechurch and the true children of God.

Luk 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time thekingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Deut. 2:24 - Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the valley of theArnon: behold, I have given into thy hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon,and his land; begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

Deut. 2:25.This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of theeupon the peoples that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear the reportof thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.

This time and season calls for strategic and deep-level spiritual warfare toenforce your prophecies and destiny.

Ecc 3:1For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose underheaven:

The Lord has promised to use our fasting to destroy for us every bond ofwickedness, evil and satanic yoke; oppression, evil burden and the loads thatthe enemy has projected into any area of our lives and destiny.

Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds ofwickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free,and that ye break every yoke?

4. Fasting Focus.

The focus of the fasting is to approach the Throne Room of the Father anddwell in the presence of Him alone Who deserves our worship, adoration andthanksgiving.

We download our objects of prayer from Him as Jehovah Sabboath leads usinto the very core of divine mysteries beyond religion.

The items listed on the Intercession Time Table are what we call the Objects ofIntercession.

You have to remain focused and stay on a particular object ofintercession for the particular time belt so that you wont break theintercession chain as we all connect in the Spiritual realm on this divinenoble assignment.

SPW – Spiritual Warfare

DEWG – Dynamic Encounter With God: This is a period of silence and stillness before theLord as you listen to the “still small Voice” of the Almighty spoken to your spirit man. Atthis time, no question, no prayer, no singing; just “be still and know that I am God.”(Psalms 46v10). Control your thoughts and keep your mind blank or still as you allowyour spirit man to gulp the living water before the Throne Room of God!

It is at this point and dimension, revelations are red into your spirit man. Even, when ifyou feel that do not receive anything at this period, do not let that bothers you, as gracesare released upon you and the cloud of God upon you. We walk by faith and not by sight.

Mysteries: This is “speaking in Tongues” (1 Cor. 14v2). Where it is combined with DEWG orBible Study on the Intercession Time Table, you divide the period between the two items.If you do not speak in tongues, do the other item only for that period.
