have not seen and have believed.” - John 20:29
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy

For most of us, it’s not easy to
ask for help! But...
Do you know someone who may
need a little help around the house or
out in the community?
Caring Hearts ministers are
standing by to help! (Privacy assured.)
Call Deacon Randy 465-0653 or the office
458-6114.
The Nursing and Homebound Ministry is being revitalized under a new name,
Caring Hearts Ministry, and we are looking for new volunteers as well as persons requesting a hand.
Examples of the type of help this ministry can provide are companionship, running errands,
and bringing Eucharist to folks in a care facility, and the same for those living at home plus
daily telephone check in, household tasks, light home maintenance, and other requests that may arise. A special notice will appear in the bulletin under the heading, “Caring Hearts
Need (or Question) of the Week.” If you have an interest in serving or have a request
or know of a person with one, contact the office at 458-6114 or Deacon Randy at 465-0653.

CATHOLIC SPIRITUAL WEEKEND
This new Catholic Journey is for Catholics seeking a deeper understanding and commitment to their role as laity in
the church. We also invite non-practicing Catholics, non-Catholics of other Christian
denominations, and even those of non-Christian faith or no faith to attend.
It is an opportunity to experience a weekend of Catholic spirituality as lived in a group of Catholic laity, who share with them the Catholic community, reflections on the Catholic faith, and Catholic prayer
and spirituality.
All

This weekend, parishes across the US will take up the Catholic Home Missions Appeal. This year, the collection will fund
over $9 million in grants for 79 dioceses. The bishops' Subcommittee on Catholic Home Missions is a grant-making agency. It offers financial
support to missionary activities that strengthen the Catholic Church in the United States, and in its territories and former territories. Through its annual fundraising campaign, the Catholic Home
Missions Appeal, Catholic Home Missions educates American Catholics about mission needs and invites them to assist fellow Catholics in the practice of the
faith. Please consider how you can help!
Do you hold a small piece to help solve this puzzle?
OLV is UNDER our ACA goal by $9,766
OLV parishioners need to be good neighbors!
When traveling to and from our church, please remember to drive slowly through the
residential areas along Shirley Rd and Center Dr,
and park in the OLV parking lot for all church-related activities.
Thank you!
