Newman Neighbourhood Centre REGULAR ACTIVITIES NNC is open between Monday to Friday 8:30 am and 2:30 pm weekly. ALL WELCOME Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 11:30 Time Out NNC is open for all to attend and spend time undertaking their own activities as they wish; be that reading, sewing, computer or paper work, or simply catching up with other people. Crèche facilities are available for children aged 6 months-6 years. New mums and bubs are most welcome to attend as well and can keep their babies with them for cuddles. With regards to crèche, bookings are preferred as places are limited. Being a crèche means that the parent/guardian is to remain on the premises for the duration of their stay. $3 per adult attending. Children under 6 months of age may stay with the parent/carer $5 for the first child attending crèche with $3 for every subsequent child in the family For people using the crèche facilities, please bring along: o A piece of fruit per child to be shared for the children’s morning tea o A water bottle with the child’s name clearly marked on it o A hat with the child’s name clearly marked on the inside Wednesday 08:30 – approx 16:00 W.A.S.P.S. Wednesday Afternoon Sewing and Patchwork Session This is an opportunity for beginners and experienced sewing people to get together and undertake their craft. A sewing machine is available for shared use and certain resources are available for purchase. $3 per person per session Friday 08:30 – 10:30 Friday Family Fun Craft This is a great fun time for parents/carers to enjoying experiencing different art stations with their children including colouring, painting and the like with variety weekly. A small charge of $5 for each family. No bookings necessary. Please bring along piece of fruit per child to be shared for the children’s morning tea and a water bottle with the child’s name clearly marked on it. Friday 11:00 – 13:00 New Mums and Bubs Session An opportunity for new mothers wishing to get advice and discuss issues with other new mothers. You are most welcome to join in the ‘Time Out’ sessions with your baby too and allow your older children to enjoy crèche. ‘Time Out’ is held Monday-Thursday mornings. Please see above. $3 per adult per session Friday and Saturday 19:00 onwards Twilight This is an opportunity for beginners and experienced sewers, quilters, scrapbookers, artists, or any other creative pursuit to get together and undertake their craft. Weekly unless notified. (Primary contact: Pam) $3 per person per session Sunday 13:30 – 16:30 Sunday Session Open to everyone whether it is for a coffee and a chat, meet new people, do a craft, or anything you like. (Primary contact: Michelle) $3 per person per session Many other activities, courses and events occur throughout the year. REGULAR ACTIVITIES NNC is open between Monday to Friday 8:30 am and 2:30 pm weekly.

ALL WELCOME Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 11:30 Time Out NNC is open for all to attend and spend time undertaking their own activities as they wish;
