Ad Lib Piano Quintet Ronald Willoughby, Clare Lee · violin, Liz Paling · viola John Bean · cello, Jeremy Kimber · piano After their successful debut last year, The Ad Lib Quintet return with a performance including Dvorak’s virtuosic Piano Quintet in A, Op 81.
Sam Rodwell • guitar We are delighted to welcome Sam to Emmanuel. Sam has already attained a first class honours degree at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, where he studied with Craig Ogden. He is now completing his Masters in Performance at the RNCM. His programme includes music by John Dowland, Albeniz and Paganini.

Sarah Watts · clarinet Laurence Perkins · bassoon Anne de Villiers · piano Sarah and Laurence have performed widely as soloists and chamber musicians and many fortunate students all around Europe have been taught by them. Their programme includes Beethoven Trio Op 38.

Richard May • cello Jeremy Kimber • piano Richard May is an internationally-renowned cellist. He has performed many of the major concertos with orchestras such as the English Sinfonietta, Basel Symphony Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic. His programme includes Cesar Franck’s Cello Sonata in A and Fauré Elegie.

Ruth Heney • violin Anne de Villiers • piano Ruth is in her final year of a B Mus degree in Oslo where she is studying violin with Stephan Barratt-Due. Ruth last performed in an Emmanuel Lunchtime Concert as a member of the Virentia Quartet. This will be a duo performance of music by Bach, Brahms and Sibelius.
Stephen Smithers • piano
Stephen is a history student at Nottingham University where he studies the piano privately with Jeremy Kimber. He is already widely experienced as soloist and concerto performer. His programme: for this concert is Beethoven Sonata in C major Op 2 No 3, Brahms Rhapsody in B minor Op 79, Debussy Pour le Piano.
