PROJECT BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVEThis Public Realm Style Guide has been commissioned by the Town of East Fremantle to suppor t

both the established and future use of George Street in East Fremantle. These guidelines aim to

enhance the area’s sense of identity and improve experiential quality within the Town. The emphasis

focuses on complementing street character and improving pedestrian experience, comfor t and

amenity.

The purpose of this study is to establish consistent, cohesive design themes and assist the Town to

ensure future development proposals contribute to a consistent, high standard of design within the

study area.

Large, spreading tree with dense willow-like foliage and a weeping

habit. The leaves are pleasantly aromatic. The trunk can develop to a

substantial, disproportionate width. Dark grey, furrowed bark. It produces

prolific small white flowers in spring and summer.

Widely cultivated medium sized, spreading dense canopied Eucalypt with
