UsingHDBaseTtechnology,thesettransmitsa1080psignaltothereceiverupto70mviaa

shieldedCat5e/Cat6cable. Bi-directionalIRcommunicationisincludedtoallowcontrolof

anIRsourceordisplay.PoCpowerallowsyoutoconnectthepowersupplyateitherthe

transmitterorthereceivertopowerbothunits.ThesetalsosupportsARC,whichenables

audioupstreamingfromdisplaytoanaudiosystemusingeitherHDMIorthecoaxdigital

output.

3.5 ARCSolutionThecoaxdigitalaudioportandtheHDMIportssupportARC(AudioReturnChannel)which

enablesadisplayviaasingleaudio/HDMIcabletosend(upstream)audiotoamplifiers/

speakers,increasinguserflexibility.

ThetransmitterprovidesanARCswitchonthebottompaneltoenableARCmodeselection.

Thereare2modesintotal,andconnectionswillvaryindifferentARCmodestoensurenormal

ARCoutput.Seethechartbelow:

6. Troubleshooting&Maintenancel Noimageondisplay:

l Ensurethatthedisplaydevicehasbeensettothecorrectinput.

l EnsurethattheHDMIcablesusedforboththesource/transmitterandthereceiver/displayareproperlyconnectedandareworking.TesttheHDMIcablesdirectlyfromasourcetodisplayandensuretheiroperation.

l EnsurethattheCat5e/Cat6cablehasnotbeendamagedandthatithasbeenterminatedcorrectlywithT568Bonbothends.AtemporarylengthofCat5e/Cat6canbeusedfortestingtoensurethatthedevicesareallcompatibleandworkingproperly.

l Ensurepropergroundingofthepowersupply.

l KnownissueswithHDMI1.2sourcedevices:
