Kuwait is one of the leading exporters of Petroleum in the world. Kuwait City, the capital, is known for its modern architecture, ranging from skyscrapers to the striking Kuwait Towers, water towers whose design recalls the tiled domes of a classic mosque. Kuwait has many public and private beaches, resorts, beautiful islands, and archaeological sites from the Greek era.
