Simple In situ fixation Load a few drops of sampleinto the tunnel port, thenload fixative into the samplewell. As the rotor accelerates,the cells are fixed after theysediment onto the slide.

Cytopro Chamber OptionsWith increased efficiency andeconomy, dual sample chambersprovide the same excellent resultsas the single sample chambers.

The Cytopro cytocentrifuge is acomplete, integrated system fordepositing cells onto microscopeslides including an advancedinstrument console with touchpad controls and a ground break-ing eight-station cytocentrifugerotor that accepts our versatilerange of sample chambers: singleor dual for smaller/regular sizedsamples and the CytoproMagnum™ large volume cham-bers for processing samples up to6 mL.

SIMPLE TO PROGRAMCutting-edge microprocessor con-trol and user programmabilityprovides programming versatili-ty. In addition to manual pro-gramming, you can store up tonine frequently used combina-tions of rotation speed (100-2000rpm), run time (1-99 minutes),and rotor acceleration (Low,Medium or High). Programs areeasy to retrieve or clear. The user-friendly display visually confirmsinputs, current settings, or operation cycle status. Programmemory is protected from power interruptions.

ROTOR PROTECTS THESAMPLE AND THE USER The Cytopro rotor uses centrifu-gal force and three patentedchamber designs to sedimentcells onto slides with maximumsafety and user convenience. Theshallow profile makes sample IDeasy and loading and unloadingsamples is convenient in a biolog-ical safety hood. Simply pipettesample fluid directly into thesample well.

Slides and samples load securelyinto the rotor without fumbling.After the run, the chamberrelease lever cleanly separates thechamber from the slide. Both theslide and the sample chamber canthen be easily removed.Cytopro’s unique ergonomicdesign leaves no chance ofsmearing your cells.

With the standard volume (singleor dual) chambers, suspensionfluid is simultaneously absorbedinto the Cytopad ® absorption pad as cells contact the microscopeslide.

With the Cytopro Magnum largecapacity chamber, the suspensionfluid is removed by an absorbentfoam pad by the end of the run.

Standard volume chambers canbe discarded with the usedCytopad, or can be autoclavedand reused with a fresh Cytopad.

They combine ease of usewith superb cell recovery.Innovative standard volumechamber designs make loadingand pad alignment simple andfoolproof. The semi-transparentsample chamber allows visualconfirmation of correct samplevolume. Patented flow controldelivers consistent results. Dualaddition ports allow pre-wet-ting—for excellent cell recovery.Because damaged spring clipscan affect recovery, we use reli-able coil springs instead.Standard chambers come in sin-gle, and dual configurations tosuit every need.
